Founder & Executive Director

Cicely Kaiser-Lee is the Founder and Executive Director of the Bob Kaiser Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities and creating opportunities for individuals and families in need.

With a passion for service, advocacy, and community development, Cicely established the Foundation to help provide resources and opportunities for veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, individuals and families in need, children, and underserved youth.

Under her leadership, the Bob Kaiser Foundation is developing initiatives focused on safe and affordable housing, food and grocery assistance, donated transportation, youth scholarships, sports and recreational opportunities, educational support, and community outreach.

Cicely believes that meaningful change happens when organizations, businesses, and community leaders work together. She is actively building partnerships with corporations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders to expand the Foundation’s reach and create sustainable programs for the people it serves.

Her commitment to youth is especially important to her. She has helped provide transportation and tickets for students to attend major sporting events, giving young people opportunities to experience environments and possibilities beyond their everyday surroundings. She has also assisted with a youth boxer who went to the Olympics and helped graduates who have gone on to become professionals.

Cicely’s vision for the Bob Kaiser Foundation is simple but powerful: to help people gain access to the resources, opportunities, dignity, and support they need to build stronger futures.

Through compassion, collaboration, and service, she is committed to building a Foundation that creates a lasting impact throughout Michigan and beyond.

The Legacy of Bob Kaiser

The Bob Kaiser Foundation is named in honor of our founder’s late father, Bobby “Bob” Kaiser — a coach, mentor and community supporter who gave more than 55 years of service to Pontiac and the state of Michigan. His commitment to youth and sport left a lasting mark on the community he loved.

Bob Kaiser was a former veteran who served with honor. He employed young people and provided free lunches for years, making sure the youth in his community were supported both on and off the field. He coached Pinklon Thomas, the Hall of Fame inductee and Heavyweight Champion, and led his team, the Capparells, to Michigan State Championships. He also coached track, football, and basketball, helping many young athletes pursue professional athletic careers.

Through this foundation, his daughter Cicely carries forward that same spirit of mentorship, opportunity, and community pride — turning a legacy built on service, in the ring, and on the court into lasting support for families across Michigan.
